When the mother of Rachel Illsley died of pancreatic cancer in 2009, sat down with the challenge of raising £ 10,000 for charity.
The 53-year-old who was adopted by Joan and Benny Bolton, when he was eight, raised £ 7,000 so far.
And now, Rachel Cole of view, everyone hopes will help break his goal of visiting a wedding dress fair on April 22 organized in aid of Cancer Research UK.
"The mother died a profound effect on me, and as a strong woman, she did not want me still crying," she said.
"It is this thought that gave me the idea I had money to charities that have special meaning for me and I raise a target of 10,000 pounds.
"It was a healing and positive for me so far, after raising funds from a country where 'n' roll and rock and roll in September 2010, the party of zero event in September 2011 and other funds from employers, who have managed to increase, £ 7000 so far. "
Rachel, whose father died of a heart attack in 1986, money that has so far to have a heart donated to charity for disadvantaged children in Swindon and District Autistic Society, the Alzheimer's Association, the Crohn's colitis, Radio Swindon 105.5 and Cancer Research UK.
"I have 3000 pounds to reach my goal. I have already received £ 1,600 exhibitors rights of marriage in April, and I hope that my goal will be destroyed," he said.
The wedding fair will be at the Marsh Farm Hotel in Wootton Bassett Real Clock 11.00 bis 15.00 and became the site for free.
"I wanted to have the wedding ceremony, a surprise and must stand out from others, and then I met the two fair trade wedding shows and entertainment - a full day for everyone," he said.
There are 28 wedding dresses in sizes ranging from eight to 26, all new and donated by local businesses, which are sold throughout the day to € 100. There is also a selection of bridesmaid dresses for adults and children, the mother of the bride and groom outfits.
